Start of participation is possible during the whole contest period. The earlier you registrate, the bigger is your chance to win.

Zur Anmeldung für den KILOMETERFRESSER
♦ registriere dich unter dem von dir gewünschten Nicknamen hier im Forum
♦ mach ein Foto vom aktuellen Kilometerstand deines Motorrads und
♦ schreibe im Thema "Anmeldung für den Kilometerfresser" eine Antwort, die das aktuelle Foto deines Tachostands enthält, deinen Wohnort und Marke und Typ deines Motorrads.
Der aktuelle Tachostand deines Motorrads laut Foto ist dein Anfangswert.
♦ Einmal im Monat trägst Du den aktuellen KM-Stand im Thema "Monatskilometerstände für den lfd. Wettbewerb" ein.
Der Kilometerstand wird in eine Tabelle eingetragen, die für alle sichtbar ist.
So ist der Wettbewerb zu jeder Zeit transparent und wird dadurch fairer.

To participate
♦ register in the KILOMETERFRESSER FORUM under the nickname you wish to use for the challenge
♦ make a photo of your odometer showing your actual mileage and
♦ write an answer in the topic "Anmeldung für den Kilometerfresser" containing brand and model of your bike, your hometown and country and upload the picture of your odometer (max. 800 x 600 pixel, max. filesize 200 kb)
The actual mileage of your odometer according to the photo is your start value.
♦ once a month every participant releases his actual odometer mileage in the topic "Monatskilometerstände für den lfd. Wettbewerb" This value will also be shown in the internet.
For this reason the contest is open, clear and fair.

Der Wettbewerb endet am 31.07.2012. Den Schlusskilometerstand dokumentierst Du auch wieder über ein Foto, welches du ins Forum lädst.

The challenge ends on July, 31st 2012. The final odometer mileage will be documented again by uploading a photo of the mileage of your odometer into the forum.

Wir werden versuchen über Sponsoren Preise für eine Tombola zu erhalten.
Alle Fahrer erhalten pro 5.000 gefahrenen Kilometern 1 Los, welches an der Tombola teilnimmt. Je mehr Kilometer ein Teilnehmer fährt, desto mehr Lose erhält er und desto grösser wird seine Gewinnchance. Die Art und Anzahl der Preise steht noch nicht fest.

We work hard to find sponsors for prizes in a lottery at the end of the contest.
For every participant we count 1 lottery ticket for every finalized 5.000 km. The more tickets you get the bigger is the chance to get a prize. Type and quantity of the prizes are not fixed yet.

Wir möchten mit diesem Wettbewerb das Motorradfahren fördern. Im Vordergrund steht dabei eindeutig das Miteinander und die Toleranz untereinander, marken-, länder- und hubraumübergreifend.

With this contest we want to promote biking. Definitly the main reason is to develop cooperation and tolerance between bikers, cross-national, cross-brand and cross-model.

In Zeiten stetig steigender Preise und des gestiegenen Umweltbewusstseins ist das Motorrad ökologisch, ökonomisch, und verkehrspolitisch im Individualverkehr eine gute Alternative zum Auto. Eine Statistik des Deutschen Instituts für Wirtschafsforschung (DIW) besagt, dass jeder Motorradfahrer ca. 3.000 KM p.a fährt.
Wir denken, dass es da noch viel Potential gibt und wollen die Motorräder auf die Strasse bringen. Wir möchten mit dem Kilometerfresser das Motorradfahren und die Gemeinschaft unter Motorradfahrern unterstützen.
Teilnehmen kann jeder interessierte Kradfahrer, modell- und hubraumunabhängig.

In times of increasing prices and environmental awareness the motorcycle is economical, ecological and transport political a good alternative to cars considering the individual transport. Concerning a statistics of the DIW the average Biker runs 2.000 m a year.
We are of the opinion, that there is still a lot of potential and want to bring motorcycles on the road. We wish to support motorcycling and the community of bikers.
Participating is possible for everyone independent from brand or model.
